Nutrition Proportion

I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Corey Schuler for more than two years.  He is always on the current nutrition research and understands the best tests to help sort through the false signals and distractions to get to the core issues.    He has an extensive network with the leading nutrition leaders in the nation and has been a great mentor and leader in a number of areas related to nutrition, quality health practice, and training the future generation of health practitioners.

Dr. Schuler's breaks down labs from what appears to be random outliers in blood work, or barely in range, and connects the dots. Thank you for offering this wonderful service to help other nutritionists. It's great to have such a wealth of knowledge as a resource to bounce ideas off of and get perspective on current cases I am working on too!

Dr. Schuler fills in the clinically useful information that you just can't get in graduate school. Writing a case study and participating in a roundtable are two entirely different experiences. The best part is that I don't feel stupid asking questions during a roundtable!

During one roundtable, a physician presented the patient background information, assessment (including labs), treatment plan (both mainstream and functional medicine-based) and follow-up details. Dr. Schuler coached, mentored and elucidated along the way. I came away from the roundtable with a heightened knowledge of the appropriate clinical protocols as well as more overall confidence. I would highly recommend this group to anyone wishing to further their knowledge in applied clinical nutrition.

Having consulted with physicians and healthcare practitioners for several years, I find Dr. Schuler to have a unique methodology. He keeps an eye on standard medical care options as well as clinical nutrition. In addition, he pays attention to behavior and how a patient will likely interpret his findings.

Dr. Schuler is probably one of the best integrative practitioners that I've met. His knowledge and practical application are some of the finest you will get in this field of expertise regarding functional medicine. I've been practicing as a ND for many years and Dr. Schuler has a great nutritional approach, really up to date in every way.

When you attend one of Dr. Schuler’s seminars, you will see he is an enthusiastic, inquisitive, intelligent and fun-loving presenter. He dynamically weaves his experience as a both chiropractor and certified nutritionist into his well-researched perspectives. Ultimately, what I love most about Dr. Schuler is his joy of discovery - discovery of connecting the dots of mechanisms, discovery of clinical strategies that work, and discovery of yet more of the miracles underlying optimal health.

Dr. Schuler has an incredible ability to talk you through the logical progression of managing a case. He is able to lead you to the answers without giving them to you. He makes you think and therefore learn as you are going through the case. He has helped me to become a better clinician and given me the ability better serve my patients.

Dr. Schuler helped get to the next steps in developing my brand. I am now working on a team of advisors as a Health Strategist with their patients and its going amazingly well.

Dr. Schuler's round-table discussions are the perfect bridge between academia and the real world. After graduating with a masters degree in applied clinical nutrition, I realized just how much more I had to learn. The leap from treating textbook cases to real people is tremendous. Dr. Schuler provides that safety net.  He has a tremendous ability to ask  you questions that help you reach your own conclusions and help you look at things from a less obvious perspective.  His understanding and passion about clinical nutrition and integrative medicine is unbelievable. The nutrition round-tables are the perfect post graduate virtual internship.

As a new practitioner, I was seeking a seasoned pro to act as a mentor to provide clinical insights, review challenging cases and act as a guide in career development.  Enter Dr. Corey Schuler.  Working with a practitioner with extensive scientific knowledge and clinical experience has played a pivotal role in my development as a functional medicine practitioner.  I continually learn from Dr. Schuler and have been able to rapidly grow my practice as a result of the confidence and competence I have gained, increasing my impact on patients each step of the way.  I am grateful for his dedication to this work and generosity in sharing his knowledge!

I have found Dr. Schuler's nutrition round tables to be highly valuable.  I have been practicing functional medicine for 7 years and I learn new clinical gems every time he presents.  He brings to the discussions years of clinical expertise and the latest in peer-reviewed research.  It is a rarity to find a practitioner so immersed in research and so clinically relevant and successful.  I am particularly grateful to Dr. Schuler for expanding my understanding of hormone imbalances.

As an alternative medical practitioner, one of my greatest frustrations is finding colleagues who understand the subtleties of supplement dosage for the ordinary to the unique patient… I gather up my challenging questions and set up a phone consultation with Dr. Schuler. Each conversation continues to improve my understanding of supplements and stretches my abilities as a practitioner. Reading the literature is easy, finding the appropriate supplement doable, having a conversation with a colleague who can bring everything together and apply it to your patient: priceless.”
