Whether you are seeking internship hours or sharpening your clinical skills, this is the group for you. Originally designed to help those seeking to become credentialed as Certified Nutrition Specialists, this group has evolved to include seasoned professionals as well. We meet at will in a round table via teleconference, at least once per month. Every member of the group has the ability to schedule a round table with the group facilitator. If the need exists, we may meet as often as once per week. Once a roundtable is scheduled, the rest of the members are invited.

The member who scheduled the roundtable will present any and all cases they want evaluated. Cases can be evaluated at any point. For example, a new case can be discussed or one that's that giving the practitioner trouble. Some cases are presented where only a history has been taken. In this scenario, the group comes up with a myriad of questions for the practitioner to ask, labs to run, and procedures to suggest. Some cases are presented for which the practitioner has significant experience. A lot of history, response to treatment, labs, and other assessments may be included in these cases.

If no members schedule a roundtable during a given month, the facilitator will schedule the round table and present cases from clinical practice.

Round tables are recorded and made available to members.

Round Tables are facilitated by Dr. Corey Schuler. Dr. Schuler is a sought-after expert in clinical nutrition and functional medicine having participated in nationwide tours and medical conferences. He is an advisor and content provider to the nutraceutical industry. Dr. Schuler teaches in graduate programs at the School of Applied Clinical Nutrition at New York Chiropractic College. He runs the Metabolic Treatment Center. Dr. Schuler is a licensed nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Specialist practitioner, and Fellow of the American Association of Integrative Medicine. He earned a master of science degree in human nutrition from University of Bridgeport, a degree in chiropractic medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University, and a degree in chemistry and systems science from Valparaiso University.

Membership is limited to qualified nutrition practitioners who are eligible for board certification through the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists; however, you may already hold the CNS credential or not be actively seeking it and still benefit from our program.
